Welcome to Saint John’s Catholic Prep. As President of Saint John’s, I want to thank you for your interest in our wonderful school and for visiting our website.
Saint John’s is a Catholic, co-educational, college preparatory high school, located in Frederick, MD with an enrollment of over 260 students and where 100% of our graduates matriculate to outstanding institutions of higher learning. Founded over 183 years ago by Jesuit Father John McElroy, Saint John’s provides an outstanding college preparatory education to students of all faiths in the Roman Catholic tradition, in a nurturing and safe environment. We serve the surrounding counties in the states of Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and Pennsylvania. From our Board members, to our faculty and staff, to our students and parents – we are truly a special family community.
Our faculty members are exceptional and extremely dedicated. Our students excel in the classroom, on the playing fields, and have a strong involvement in the community in outreach and in volunteerism.
In keeping with the Jesuit ideal of developing the whole student - mind, body and spirit – our student population at Saint John’s is diverse and also includes students from the international community.
Whether you are a prospective family who will be completing our online application, or an alumnus who is trying to reconnect with your classmates, my hope is that you will find everything you are looking for and more on our website.
