It is an honor and a privilege to have been selected to serve as your next President. I want to acknowledge and thank you for the warm welcome my wife Sandra and I have received from the school community. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Jack Campbell for his stewardship of Saint John’s this past year as well as the governance role our Board of Directors has played in charting a course for the school’s future. Saint John’s Founder Father John McElroy’s vision for the school has been the wellspring for its success. The educational philosophy of combining mind, body, and spirit ensures that Saint John’s graduates are fully educated and informed twenty-first century citizens. The faculty and staff have played a central role in the formation of students along with our parents whose loving and nurturing support provides an environment in which students can grow and thrive intellectually, emotionally and spiritually. Whether student, faculty member, parent, member of the Board, alumni, grandparent, the religious or friend of Saint John’s, we are all stakeholders in the school. In working together we can continue to offer a Catholic, college preparatory education, framed in the vision of our founder Father John McElroy, S.J. that is second to none. We are developing plans to move our school from its present location to a brand new campus in the near future. As we take great pride in our past, we also look forward to a bright future at a state-of-the-art academic campus.
